In First XFINITY Race Since Accident, Kyle Busch Wins at Michigan

In his first NASCAR XFINITY Series race back from a broken right leg and left foot, Kyle Busch proved conclusively that he hasn’t lost a step. Taking advantage of contact between the Chevrolet of Kevin Harvick and the Ford of polesitter Joey Logano—as those two drivers were battling for the lead—Busch passed Chase Elliott for the lead on lap 122 of 125 and held on to win Saturday’s Great Clips 250 at Michigan International Speedway.

After contact with his teammate Darrell Wallace Jr., Chris Buescher gambled on fuel and nursed his No. 60 Roush Performance Products Ford to the checkered flag in the Buckle Up 200 at the Monster Mile. This was also Buescher’s first victory in three races at Dover International Speedway.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher took over the race lead with 10 laps remaining inSaturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at the ‘Monster Mile’ of Dover International Speedway and was able to hang on, conserving enough fuel in his No. 60 Roush Performance Ford for the final 10 miles, as the XFINITY points leader claimed his second victory in the last three races. Buescher started the race on the outside of the front row by pole winner and teammate Bubba Wallace. After the one-two start, the two battled late for the lead, before Wallace had to pit with a flat tire after the two Fords made contact.
