Matt Hagan and Steve Torrence snapped a small winless streak Sunday afternoon after claiming victories in their respective NHRA classes. Hagan's victory was his first since Denver of this year and it was Torrence's first win since Sonoma before going on a two-race winless streak.
Torrence, a Kilgore, Texas native, spoke about his early ranks in the sport including transitioning from Alcohol dragsters to Top Fuel dragsters, his first start at Richmond in 2006 and his first victory in Atlanta of 2012. He also discussed various other topics surrounding the early years of his NHRA career.
