NOAPS/NCTS/ARCA EAST: Rockingham Speedway – April 3-4
PLANO, Texas (April 1, 2026) – While the Cup Series is off this weekend, NASCAR’s O’Reilly and Truck Series head to Rockingham Speedway for the second consecutive season. They will be joined at the 0.94-mile short oval by the ARCA Menards Series East in its second straight race weekend to begin its 2026 season.
NASCAR National Series – NOAPS/NCTS
Crews looks to continue solid start to O’Reilly Series career … Through three starts in his O’Reilly Auto Parts Series career, Brent Crews holds two top-10 finishes after his 10th-place result last weekend at Martinsville Speedway. The now 18-year-old, Toyota Development Driver earned his other top-10 run in his series debut at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in February by finishing seventh. Crews has also started inside the top-10 in all three of his races this season – seventh at COTA, fifth at Phoenix Raceway and fourth at Martinsville. He also won the ARCA East race at Rockingham Speedway last year.
Honeycutt, Ruggiero in the thick of title fight … Four races into the 2026 Truck Series season, TRICON Garage’s Kaden Honeycutt and Gio Ruggiero find themselves within striking distance of the series points lead heading to Rockingham Speedway this weekend. Honeycutt sits second in the point standings, just 33 points out of the lead, off the back of three top-10s in the first four races this season – including a fourth-place result last time out in Darlington, where he captured his first career pole position in the Truck Series. Ruggiero is fourth in the points standings, 45 points behind of the lead after also capturing three top-10s so far this season. Both drivers finished inside the top-10 of last year’s race at Rockingham, with Honeycutt finishing sixth and Ruggiero in 10th.
Heim, Andretti to pilot TRICON Tundras … Corey Heim and Adam Andretti will be behind the wheel of the TRICON Garage No. 1 and No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pros at Rockingham. Heim enters the weekend off his thrilling victory in the No. 5 at Darlington two weeks ago, making his third Trucks start of 2026. The Toyota Development Driver has top-five finishes in both of his races so far this year – fifth at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta) and the win at Darlington. For Andretti, this will also be his third Truck start of the 2026 season, having run the races at EchoPark Speedway and on the Streets of St. Petersburg back in February, finishing 12th and 23rd in those races, respectively.
NASCAR Regional Series – ARCA Menards Series East
Toyota brings strong lineup to Rockingham … For this weekend’s ARCA Menards Series East race in Rockingham, Team Toyota is primed for its second consecutive series win at the short oval after Crews’ triumph last year. Max Reaves will once again pilot the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 this weekend, coming off a second-place finish last weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway after he started from pole position. For Nitro Motorsports, Gavan Boschele and Wesley Slimp will pilot the No. 25 and 70 entries this weekend. Slimp will make his second start this season in ARCA competition after running the season-opener for the national series at Daytona in February. For Boschele, this will be his second career start in ARCA competition after he ran the national series race at Berlin Raceway in 2024, where he finished eighth.
