RHODES RETURNS AT BRISTOL

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Harrison Rhodes will return to the cockpit of the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 0 Chevrolet for Friday’s Food City 300 Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Rhodes missed the Xfinity races at the Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio road courses. He’s back this week with sponsorship from Flex Seal.

“I’m happy to be back in the car this week,” Rhodes said. “I missed the racing and the guys the past couple weeks. I had a lot of fun running Bristol earlier in the year, and I’m anxious to get back and give it another shot.”

Rhodes finished 29th in his debut race on the tough, high-banked half-mile in mid-April.

Entering Friday’s race, Rhodes is 23rd in Xfinity driver points and fifth in the series’ rookie race.

Practice for Friday’s one-day event is scheduled at 9 a.m. Qualifying will be held at 3:45 p.m., with the race to follow at 7:30.
