Joey Gase Quicken Loans 500 Race Advance

28th Annual Quicken Loans 500 at Phoenix International Raceway

News and Notes:
Heading into this weekend’s event at the Phoenix International Raceway, the No.32 rFactor 2 team will travel to the “The Grand Canyon State” with Joey Gase for the 28th annual Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 at the Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, AZ.  Sunday’s event will mark Gase’s second career start at the 1-mile track, and his seventh career NSCS start. The Cedar Rapids, IA native made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut (NSCS) debut at Phoenix in the fall 2014 event for Go Green Racing finishing 33rd. Gase also made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Phoenix driving for Go Green Racing in the spring of 2012 finishing 25th.

Joey Gase on Phoenix:
“Phoenix is one of my favorite tracks on the circuit, both turns are different which creates more of a challenge, but it’s a fun challenge. The type of short track racing Phoenix produces is always a lot of fun, and it will be fun pulling double duty again this weekend. Huge thanks to everyone at rFactor 2, and Donate Life Arizona for coming on board this weekend.”

Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Clinton Cram will be bringing chassis GGR-843 to serve as the primary car. Previously, this chassis last ran at Dover International Speedway in October with Josh Wise.  Chassis GGR-742 will serve as the backup car.
