Mortgage Lending Leader Quicken Loans to Join Hendrick Motorsports, Kasey Kahne in 2016

– Nation’s second largest retail mortgage lender becomes three-race primary sponsor of No. 5 team –

DETROIT – Dec 1, 2015 – Detroit-based Quicken Loans, the nation’s second largest retail mortgage lender, today announced it will partner with Hendrick Motorsports in 2016, serving as a three-race primary sponsor of the No. 5 Quicken Loans Chevrolet SS driven by Kasey Kahne in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The company will be an associate sponsor for all remaining races.

One of Quicken Loans’ primary sponsorship races will include a joint promotion with Hendrick Automotive Group, the largest privately held operator of auto dealerships in the United States.

Since joining Hendrick Motorsports in 2012, Kahne, 35, has seen significant success – earning three berths in NASCAR’s Chase for the Sprint Cup. The Enumclaw, Washington, native boasts 17 career wins and 156 top-10 finishes in NASCAR’s top division.

Quicken Loans’ move to Hendrick Motorsports comes after serving as a primary sponsor of the No. 31 Chevrolet and driver Ryan Newman for two seasons at Richard Childress Racing, as well as the two years prior at Stewart-Haas Racing.
