Wallace Set to Build off of Strong Run in Daytona

HAMPTON, Ga. (Feb. 24, 2016) – Bubba Wallace, driver of the No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Ford Mustang, looks to build off of a strong run at Daytona International Speedway last weekend and make a push for the inaugural NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

“Man I’m just ready to get back on the track again,” said Wallace. “Daytona was a great run for everyone on this No. 6 Roush Fenway team. It really has all of the guys fired up and I’m really looking forward to see what we can do this weekend at Atlanta.”

Wallace, who finished sixth in the season opening NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona, prepares to make his second career start at Atlanta. In this event last year, the driver of the No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Ford Mustang recorded an 11th-place finish in his first career race on a 1.5-mile oval in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

“Last year here was my first time on a mile-and-a- half track in these cars,” added Wallace. “We ran a good race and were patient all day. Hopefully this year we can improve on that and get another solid run.”

The green flag for Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series event at Atlanta Motor Speedway is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. EST. and will be live on FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
