Wallace will make his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday afternoon.

Wallace has one top-10 in two career starts at the one-mile oval, an eighth in the Nov. 2015 event.

In 21 career NASCAR XFINITY Series starts on tracks between one and two miles in length, Wallace has recorded two top-fives and 11 top-10s, with a best finish of third at Chicagoland Speedway in Sept. 2015.

In two starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Phoenix, Wallace recorded a best finish of sixth in the Nov. 2014 event.

Recapping Las Vegas

A multi-car incident on Lap 136 on Saturday afternoon at Las Vegas Motor Speedway ended Wallace’s day early, while battling for position inside the top 10. Wallace was ultimately scored with a 33rd-place finish.

Seth Barbour at Phoenix

Barbour will call his sixth NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Phoenix. Barbour earned an eighth-place finish with Wallace in the Nov. 2015 event at the one-mile oval.

QUOTE WORTHY

Wallace on racing at Phoenix:

“I’m ready to get back on the track this weekend with the Cheez-It Ford at Phoenix. We ran pretty well here last fall so hopefully we can build off of that and get a solid run on Saturday for everyone who works so hard getting this car to the track each week.”
