JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion – Qualified 12th
“Our first run I kind of missed my lap a little bit but was good enough to get through. We ran an extra lap and probably didn’t need to. That kind of puts you behind the eight ball. You don’t want to run extra laps if you can help it. We kept trying to make the car better for the second round. We barely made it to the round of 12. I thought we knew what we had to do but we over adjusted a little the last run. Our third lap was our fastest in the last run so that says we missed it the first couple pretty bad. I think I have a pretty good Ford Fusion for tomorrow night. I think we will be alright. Twelfth is a little bit of a kick in the gut. Overall, I think we lost our pit stall selection anyway. It is a long race. We have come back through a lot of things at this race track before and passed through the field. There are a lot of comers and goers in a run at this race. We will wait and see what happens but I think we are alright.”

TREVOR BAYNE, No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion – Qualified 18th
“It was close. This is a tight field here this weekend. I feel like we have a good race car. It has speed in it, we just got tight across the middle there and it kind of killed us. I am pretty happy with my Ford. Hopefully it will race good. You can pass here. There are multiple grooves and you can move around. If you have good forward drive you can race. I am not disappointed with that at all. We will keep on going at it tomorrow night.”

CHRIS BUESCHER, No. 34 CSX Play it Safe Ford Fusion – Qualified 31st
“That is not where we wanted to be in qualifying with our CSX Ford Fusion. We were a little better than we were last time here, so there is a little bit of positive to it, believe it or not. We will be able to work our way up. At the end of the day, this weekend is about something bigger. We are trying to stay out of trouble and be there at the end. It won’t be an easy walk from where we are at right now but we will be able to work our way up.”
