Reed at Dover
This weekend’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Dover International Speedway marks Ryan Reed’s sixth start at the Monster Mile. In his five previous starts, Reed’s best finish of 11th came in the spring event in 2015. Earlier this season, Reed qualified 15th, but damage sustained on Lap 20 left Reed and the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association team with an 18th-place finish.
The Chase
After the first race of the inaugural XFINITY Series Chase at Kentucky Speedway, Reed travels to Dover for race two in the first round of the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase. Reed enters this weekend fourth in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase Grid. The first three rounds of the Chase consist of races at Kentucky Speedway, Dover and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Following the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, four contenders will be eliminated from the Chase.

Reed and the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association team put together a strong showing in the opening round of the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase, finishing seventh in Saturday night’s caution-filled race at Kentucky Speedway.
2016 Season
Reed is scored fourth in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase Grid after 27 races. He has recorded one top-five and five top-10 finishes, led eight laps for the season and has recorded an average finish of 16.3.

I think this weekend at Dover we can keep building on that momentum. We have to have a solid run to keep ourselves in Chase contention.”

Reed and Roush Fenway teammate Bubba Wallace will visit the Ford Display for a Q&A at 10:30 a.m. ET on Friday.
Reed will take part in a NASCAR autograph session at Dover on Saturday, October 1st at 10:00 a.m. ET. The session will take place at the Highway Safety Display in the Midway.
