CONCORD, N.C. (June 2, 2011) – Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates today announces an associate sponsorship agreement for the remainder of the 2011 season with SPLASH Products Inc. SPLASH a national provider of seasonal safety products based in Eagan, MN,. Will have its logo prominently displayed on several assets for the No. 1 team including the team’s transporter, on the uniform of the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 winner Jamie McMurray and his No. 1 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chevrolet for select events.

McMurray On the Track: Jamie McMurray is currently in his second season back with team owner Chip Ganassi and currently sits 26th in the points standing, 78 points out of 10th place. The Joplin, MO, native made the most of his 2010 reunion with chip Ganassi by winning the Daytona 500, in his first race back. Along with veteran crew chief Kevin “Bono” Manion, the team also captured victories in both the Brickyard 400 and the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway last season becoming one of only three drivers to ever capture both Daytona and the Brickyard in the same season. In his 10-year NASCAR Sprint Cup Series career McMurray has six victories, eight poles, 39 top-five and 94 top-ten finishes. McMurray, who began his NSCS career in 2002 as a replacement driver for the injured Sterling Marlin won in just his second career start at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
