Michael Ray, Country Singer-Songwriter and Central Florida Native, to Perform Pre-Race Concert for 61st Annual Coke Zero Sugar 400

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 2, 2019) – Warner Music Nashville recording artist Michael Ray, who was born in nearby Eustis, is coming home to Daytona International Speedway for the Independence Day holiday weekend to entertain NASCAR fans with a pre-race concert on Saturday, July 6 prior to the 61st annual Coke Zero Sugar 400, a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event.

Michael Ray was a hit right out of the box, scoring both with critics and on the charts. His live shows have been lauded by USA Today and have led to performances on Good Morning America, ELLEN, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and more since his 2015 self-titled debut album debuted with two No. 1 hits out of the box, “Kiss You in the Morning” and “Think a Little Less.” His sophomore album, Amos, debuted in the Top 3 on the Billboard Country Charts upon release and has already spawned the hit “Get to You” and third No. 1 smash single “One That Got Away.” 

“Our annual July 4th holiday celebration just got even bigger with the addition of a pre-race performance by Michael Ray – one of the rising stars of country music and a Central Florida native,” Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile said. “We’re proud to welcome him back home. It’s going to be a great concert and a perfect complement to the always-thrilling Coke Zero Sugar 400.”

A limited quantity of VIP ticket packages are available, providing fans with special access to Ray’s pre-race concert that will be staged along pit road as well as a special question and answer session. VIP Pit packages start at $139 and include:

·         A reserved ticket for the Coke Zero Sugar 400

·         Question and answer session with Ray in a Midway suite

·         Pre-Race/UNOH Fanzone access

·         Admission to the VIP viewing area in front of the stage for the pre-race concert


Fans who have already purchased Coke Zero Sugar 400 tickets can upgrade their experience to the VIP Pit package for $85.
