Greg Biffle Dover Notes and Quotes

Biffle on Dover: “I’ve had some success at Dover and it would be great to get the 3M Ford Fusion in victory lane there this weekend. It’s been a pretty up and down season for us so far but I feel like we’re moving in the right direction. A win would definitely keep the momentum going though. As a driver, you have to be on your toes in Dover. You want your car to be a little loose but at the same time, it can’t be too loose. I have high expectations for this weekend.”

Puccia on Dover: “Dover is the fastest one-mile track that we go to and the keys to running well there are keeping good track position and having a good pit strategy. Matt Kenseth won there in the spring with a late-race two-tire stop. We’re taking the car that we ran well with at Michigan until we had some damage to the right rear quarter panel. Last week at New Hampshire we were finally able to get a finish that reflected how well we’ve been running and it was a huge motivation for the team. We’re planning to go to Dover and pick up where we left off last weekend by trying to finish even better there.”

Dover Notes

Biffle is currently 14th in the Sprint Cup point standings following his third-place finish in New Hampshire. He is three points out of the 13th position.

Biffle’s average finish at Dover is 11.4 from an average starting position of 12.3.
