Ragan on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway:
“Returning to Charlotte is always special since it’s a hometown race and one I always enjoy. We had a great speedweeks in May with the All-Star and Coke 600 and we hope to improve our finishing position and come away with a win. There are just a few races left in the season, so it would be great to get a win for our UPS team. I’d love to get one racing under the lights at Charlotte in our UPS Freight Ford.”

“We ran well in the All-Star race and the Coke 600 back in the spring and we are bringing the same car with us this weekend. We believe we are better in a few areas now then we were back in May, so that will hopefully put us one spot better at the end of the night Saturday.”

* David Ragan will run a special UPS Freight car this weekend in Charlotte. This is the second time UPS Freight will be featured on the No. 6 Ford this season and the new design was chosen by UPS employees. Ragan will be driving the same car that sat on the pole in Texas and finished seventh.
. Chassis 750 is the same car Ragan drove to a second-place finish in the Coca-Cola 600.
