TMS to offer special $48 ticket package in conjunction with the launch of Jimmie Johnson’s Anything With An Engine

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 18, 2011) – Fans planning to visit Texas Motor Speedway for the AAA Texas 500 NASCAR triple header weekend Nov. 3-6 will have an opportunity to beat Jimmie Johnson at his new video game, Jimmie Johnson’s Anything With An Engine published by Autumn Games. In addition, by visiting www.facebook.com/teamlowesracing fans may help outfit the MyLowe’s lounge, which will feature multiple opportunities for race fans to experience the game firsthand.

Now through Wed., Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. EST fans have the option of picking the flooring, lighting fixtures and paint color featured in the lounge, which will be located in the midway at TMS and open during normal track operating hours. If fans like the options chosen for the lounge, they can put those items into their MyLowe’s accounts. Fans also will be able to register for MyLowe’s at the lounge during race weekend and have the opportunity to win prizes by beating Johnson’s time.

“I think it’s awesome that we are able to partner with Texas Motor Speedway to bring my new video game to the track,” said Johnson, currently eighth in the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup standings. “The MyLowe’s lounge will be the ultimate game room where everyone can come hang out and play it. Even if you can’t come to the track, you will still be able to help be a part of the experience by picking what goes inside the lounge.”

In celebration of the launch of Jimmie Johnson’s Anything With An Engine, Texas Motor Speedway is offering a special ticket package. Fans can purchase the $48 Jimmie Johnson’s Anything With An Engine Ticket Package beginning Tues., Oct. 18 through Wed., Nov. 2. Jimmie Johnson’s Anything With An Engine will be available for purchase at major video game retailers starting Nov.1 and will be available for all three major gaming consoles.
