NEWTON, Iowa – (March 7, 2012) – Graham Tire Company, a franchise of 11 retail Goodyear Tire dealerships and one retread plant located in Iowa and Minnesota, has signed an agreement with Iowa Speedway to be the presenting sponsor the first race of the 2012 race season on May 19, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East vs. West Challenge.

“Graham Tire is excited to sponsor the K&N race at Iowa Speedway on May 19th.  As a large, independent Goodyear & Titan tire dealer in Iowa and Minnesota, we see a great value in providing quality racing entertainment right here in our backyard at Iowa Speedway,” proclaimed Kelly Monthei, General Manager of Graham Tire Co. “This race gives us a chance to interact and support a sport that our employees and customers love.  We know that when you think of Goodyear many people think of racing, and Graham Tire is excited to continue this tradition.”

Karen Owen, sales manager at Iowa Speedway, said Graham Tire Company coming on as a sponsor for opening day only means a greater fan experience, both for pre-race week promotions and at track activities.

“Sponsors like Graham Tire Company really allow us to continually improve the fan experience,” said Owen. “They provide a quality customer experience at their stores; now, they will help us get more fans involved prior to and during the event weekend.”

Graham Tire Company, along with Titan Tire – the off-highway tire manufacturer – is planning on doing several promotions prior to the May race, one of which will be based around a race car, which was purchased from Hendrick Motorsports in 2010. Season tickets, event weekend ticket packages, and single race tickets are on sale now, reserve yours today by calling 1-866-RUSTY-GO or visit www.iowaspeedway.com.
