This Week’s Toyota Tundra … John Wes Townley will pilot RAB Racing Chassis No. 47 is his bid to make the Kroger 250 this weekend at Martinsville Speedway.
This is a brand new Toyota Tundra that will be put through its first paces this weekend at Martinsville.
Testing, 1-2-3 … On Tuesday, March 20th, Townley and his Chris Rice-led team turned laps at “Little Rock” test track, a near-clone of Martinsville Speedway, in preparation for this weekend’s Camping World Truck Series race.
Homecoming … Chris Rice, crew chief of RAB Racing’s No. 09 Toyota Tundra, hails from South Boston, Va., located approximately 60 miles east of Martinsville Speedway.
Rearview Mirror … RAB Racing’s Toyota Tundra was a mainstay in the top five during the season-opening NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway last month, and posted a fourth-place finish in the team’s Camping World Truck Series debut.

Catch the Action … The Kroger 250 from Martinsville Speedway will be televised live Saturday, Mar. 31 beginning at 1 p.m. EST on SPEED and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network. Qualifying will be televised live Saturday, Mar. 31 beginning at 10 a.m. EST on SPEED.

I’m excited about the progress we saw with John Wes at “Little Rock” testing last week, and we’re looking forward to really getting our season started off. We spent time at Toyota Racing Development in the past week and made some big gains there. At Martinsville, it’s crucial to stay out of trouble and keep all the fenders on our Toyota Tundra.
