MOORESVILLE, NC (April 2, 2012) – Turner Motorsports is pleased to announce the addition of Koike Aronson Ransome to the sponsorship line-up for the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) program. The manufacturer of high quality cutting equipment and positioning machinery will adorn the hood and sides of the No. 31 Chevy Silverado driven by James Buescher during the 2012 campaign. Rising star Buescher will see action behind the wheel of the Koike machine in five NCWTS races including Rockingham Speedway, Dover International Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Pocono Raceway and Talladega Superspeedway.
Koike Aronson Ransome designs and manufactures one of the world’s broadest lines of welding positioners and thermal cutting products, as well as supplying portable and gas apparatus equipment. The company’s history goes back to 1946 when Chuck Aronson founded the Aronson Machine Company, a welding positioner manufacturer at which he invented and patented positioners that are still used today. In 1985, Koike Sanso Kogyo (est. 1918) of Tokyo Japan acquired Aronson Machine Company to add a world-class welding positioner line to their well-regarded cutting machine line. The result was a single company that supplied the market with the best welding positioners and thermal cutting products in the world. Then in 2001, Koike Aronson, Inc. purchased a large competitor, Ransome Company, based in Houston, TX. The acquisition allowed Koike Aronson to offer the most durable, safest and largest variety of positioning equipment ever. Today the company is known as Koike Aronson, Inc./Ransome. “Koike Aronson, Inc. is proud to be a sponsor of Turner Motorsports,” commented Koike president Jerry Leary. “We believe that the relationship with Turner Motorsports will help develop our presence within the NASCAR racing community making it very profitable for both Koike Aronson, Inc. and Turner Motorsports. At Koike, we feel that we can help improve production time while also eliminating excessive manufacturing costs for the Turner Motorsport’s team with our wide variety of standard and custom made cutting and welding equipment.”
“I am thrilled to have the chance to represent Koike Aronson Ransome in 2012,” commented driver James Buescher. “We all have high expectations for the 2012 season after a solid third-place in the 2011 Championship. This year we plan to take it to the next level and go out and contend for more wins and the championship. At the end of the day, Koike Aronson and Turner Motorsports are trying to accomplish the same thing, manufacture high quality machines. We have a solid foundation and are looking to continue to build that momentum into the 2012 season and beyond.”
