Tomy Drissi – No. 10 Ice Age: Continental Drift: DRISSI IN NASCAR – Drissi will make his NSCS debut this weekend. The California native made three starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and one start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. He scored his best NASCAR finish of 18th in his NNS debut in 2010.

ROAD COURSE RACER – Drissi has tallied wins in the American Le Mans Series and Trans Am Series. In addition to scoring the Trans Am Championship, he captured Rookie of the Year honors in the series in 1999. In 2011, he competed in a partial schedule in the American Le Mans Series. In his five races, he finished second at Long Beach, third at Lime Rock Park, first at Mid-Ohio, first at the Inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix and second in the Petit Le Mans.

CHASSIS NO. 802 – Drissi will pilot chassis No. 802. David Reutimann drove the chassis at Brisol Motor Speedway this season, and Blaney drove the chassis last season at Bristol, Phoenix, Vegas, Chicago, Charlotte and Kansas. Geoffrey Bodine also drove the chassis at Homestead and Texas.

ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT – Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth installment of the Ice Age series, will be released in theaters July 13 and be available in 3D. In the movie, Scrat’s nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he’s been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences – a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.

IN THE POINTS – The No. 10 team is currently 33rd in NSCS Owner Points. The team is locked into the top-35 by 59 points, ahead of the No. 36 TBR Chevrolet by four points and trails the No. 83 by five points.

Tomy Drissi Quotes: ON RACING THIS WEEKEND – “I am humbled to be able to drive with TBR in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and represent Ice Age: Continental Drift. It is an honor to mix both of my worlds on America’s biggest racing stage and to be racing the same number as Danica Patrick did in the Daytona 500 and other races this year. Our goal this weekend is to get a solid finish for TBR and some good exposure for Ice Age. Thanks to TBR for working hard this year on the points. A special thanks to Mike Cesario from Racers Drive for helping TBR and myself get together for this opportunity.”

Dave Blaney – No. 36 Chevrolet: BLANEY AT SONOMA – Blaney made 11 career starts at the 1.99-mile road course. This weekend’s start will be his 22nd career-road course start. The Hartford, Ohio native made his best Sonoma start of 15th in 2003 and scored his best finish of 19th in the 2005 event.

CHASSIS NO. 101 – Blaney will pilot chassis No. 101 this weekend. The chassis was built in-house at TBR and made its debut at Auto Club Speedway. The chassis was converted to a road course car following a start at Texas Motor Speedway this season.

IN THE POINTS – The No. 36 Chevrolet moved up to the 34th position in the NSCS Owners Points and is locked into the top-35 by 55 points. The team is now four points behind the No. 10 TBR Chevrolet and three points ahead of the No. 32. Blaney is 33rd in the NSCS Drivers Points. He is two points behind Landon Cassill and 14 points ahead of teammate David Reutimann.

Dave Blaney Quotes: ON RACING AT SONOMA – “I really like road course racing. It is a nice change of pace. There isn’t a lot of room to race on road courses, but I like the challenge of all of the things you have to do like braking, shifting, etc. I went to a road race school when I first starting racing road courses in NASCAR and it helped teach you the basics. Road racing is a different way of driving the car, and you need to get in that mind set. Sonoma is more of a slow corner, finesse track, which I really enjoy. There are more chances to make up or loose ground, more chances to make something happen.”
