Zane Smith Key Takeaways
Stage One: 10th / Stage Two: 9th / Race Result: 16th
“Tough end to a promising day,” said Smith. “Had good speed, just needed strategy to play more in our favor at the end there. I think we came out of the break strong, and Ford Racing in general had a pretty good weekend, so that’s encouraging for this last stretch of the season. Richmond was good for us last year, so hopefully this moves us in the right direction.”
Noah Gragson Key Takeaways
Stage One: 20th / Stage Two: 14th / Race Result: 17th
“A solid result for this team after the off-week,” said Gragson. “We chipped away at it all race, making the right adjustments throughout the day to keep us competitive. Hopefully, we can bring the same speed to Richmond next week.”
Todd Gilliland Key Takeaways
Stage One: 13th / Stage Two: 24th / Race Result: 22nd
“Not the result we were hoping for, but still a decent finish for this group,” said Gilliland. “We unloaded with a lot of speed in Saturday’s P&Q session, but we had a couple of things not go our way on Sunday, with a bad pit stop and wrong adjustments, that hindered us from a better result. Still happy with the progress we showed, though, so I’m excited for Richmond.”
