RBR at Chicagoland Speedway: RBR Enterprises will be making its first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series attempt at Chicagoland this weekend.

McCumbee at Chicagoland Speedway: Chad McCumbee will be making his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series attempt at Chicagoland Speedway in this week’s American Ethanol 225. In 2007, he started on the front row before finishing seventh. In four ARCA Racing Series starts at the track, McCumbee has two top-ten finishes.

This week’s truck: RBR Enterprises is bringing TK92-05 to Chicagoland as its primary entry for the American Ethanol 225. The truck saw action with the team at Rockingham in April and Charlotte in May.

On Chicagoland Speedway…

I am excited that Chicago is my first event with RBR. I have had some success there in the truck series. My first event at Chicago produced a front row start and a great race. I think we have made some solid gains with our BTS Chevy at the shop and hope to showcase it at the track.

On driving for Ricky Benton…

Growing up in racing in Southeastern North Carolina, not far from Cerro Gordo (N.C., where RBR is based) Black’s Tire Racing has been synonymous with success. I want to be part of that next chapter of success. For all that they have done for this area, it is an honor to be associated with them.

On the team’s goals at Chicago…

We aren’t going up there to run 18th. We have the equipment to run in the top 10, but a good day for us on Saturday would be running 150 laps, improve the communication between Chad and I and truly evaluate where we need to make changes.

On team’s chances at Chicago with new crew chief and driver…

I’m excited to get back on track and see what we have with Chad and Cowboy. They have both been with us less than a month and have really hit the ground running. I think we are going to be pretty good at Chicago. We are bringing the same truck that was run at Rockingham and Charlotte. We ran well at both tracks but just didn’t have the finish to match.
