· A total of 16 Team Chevy drivers will start the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Michigan International Speedway
· Team Chevy drivers occupy three (3) of the top-10 starting positions
· Chevrolet drivers starting in the top-10:
o Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet, qualified in the third starting position
*Due to an engine change in practice the No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet will move to the rear of the field for the start of today’s race
o Kasey Kahne, No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet, will roll off from the fifth position
o Paul Menard, No. 27 Menards/Pittsburgh Paints Chevrolet, will take the green-flag from the 10th starting spot

o Dale Earnhardt Jr., No. 88 National Guard/Diet Mountain Dew Chevrolet, has two (2) wins at MIS (’08 & ‘12)
o Jeff Gordon, No. 24 Drive To End Hunger Chevrolet, has two (2) trophies from MIS (’98 & ‘01)
o Ryan Newman, No. 39 WIX Filters Chevrolet, has two (2) victories at MIS (’03 & ’04)
o Kevin Harvick, No. 29 Jimmy Johns Chevrolet, has visited victory lane at MIS once (’10)
o Kasey Kahne, No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet, has one trophy from MIS (’06)
o Tony Stewart, No. 14 Mobil 1/Office Depot Chevrolet, has one victory at MIS (’00)
· A Chevrolet driver has won four (4) of the last 10 races at Michigan International Speedway
· A Chevrolet driver has sat on the pole at Michigan International Speedway 23 times
· Team Chevy drivers have scored 145 top-five and 299 top-10 finishes at MIS
