Multiple Camping Options Available at Richmond International Raceway for April 25-27 NASCAR Weekend

Daily and Overnight RV Parking, Tent Camping on Sale Now

Richmond, VA (April 5, 2013)—Fans looking for daily and overnight RV parking during the Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR weekend at Richmond International Raceway April 25-27, should look no further than the Blue Ox Meadowbridge Unreserved RV Parking (Lot J). This lot opens at noon on Thursday, April 25 and at 7:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday for daily and overnight parking. Blue Ox Meadowbridge Unreserved daily and overnight parking spaces are available for oversized vehicles, RVs and motorcoaches in Lot J.

Passes for Blue Ox Meadowbridge Unreserved RV Parking can be purchased in advance for $90 for the weekend. To purchase passes in advance, please click here or call 866-455-7223. The lot has continuous tram service throughout the day until approximately an hour and a half post-race Friday-Saturday, as well as 24-hour security. Sites do not contain utilities (no power, water or waste connections) and showers are not provided. Portable restrooms are provided. Pump out and fresh water service is available for a fee.

New for 2013, Richmond International Raceway offers tent camping in Lot G. Fans may purchase a reserved 20’ x 30’ tent camping spot for $75 by calling 866-455-7223. Fans must have two or more Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series tickets in their account to purchase a reserved tent camping spot in that account. A tent camping ticket package, which includes two tickets (in Henrico Grandstand, rows 1-10) to the race and a reserved tent camping spot, is available for$145. Shower facilities will be available in Lot G for $5 per shower. Tram service is not available from Lot G; however, the track is a 15-minute walk away.

Tickets are on sale now for the Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway. Advance tickets, including seats in Turns 1 and 4, start at $45, and can be purchased online by clicking here or by calling 866-455-7223. Tickets for the ToyotaCare 250 start at $30 in advance and can be purchased online by clicking here or by calling 866-455-7223. Children 12 and younger are admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections on Friday. The weekend begins Thursday, April 25, when the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East returns to RIR for the BLUE OX 100 and Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown presented by FedEx, benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Advance tickets are $25, with children 12 and younger admitted free.
