MARCOS AMBROSE, No. 9 DeWalt Ford Fusion – Qualified 11th

“It was pretty good. I left a little bit out there. All these guys are gonna get much better track conditions than what we had. We had a big pickup from practice and that’s all I can ask from my DeWalt team. I’m pretty happy with how our car feels as the sun comes off the racetrack so hopefully tomorrow night we will be just fine.”

JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion – Qualified 7th

“I am really proud of the guys. We worked really hard at our car in race trim and we made one qualifying run at the end of the first practice and it was really bad. They put their heads together to come up with a good piece for qualifying. I’m not sure where that will hold up but it’s a lot better than where we were in practice.”

RICKY STENHOUSE JR., No. 17 Zest Ford Fusion – Qualified 12th

I was loose and tight in the middle so we have both of them knocked out. It was definitely a lot better than we were in practice so that is a plus. I drive it too hard the second lap and really got behind. I feel like we had a really good first lap. I just made a big mistake on entry of both corners and got too loose. All in all I think the guys did a good job making the right changes. That is the best we have been all day today. Hopefully we can get it tuned up for race trim and gave a good night tomorrow night.

DAVID RAGAN, No. 34 CSX/Play it Safe Ford Fusion – Qualified 20th

“We had a good pick-up for our CSX Ford. Our guys did a good job in practice today, and in a one-day show it’s always very hectic, so that was a good pick-up for qualifying. Now 400 laps in the race should be a lot of fun. We have a decent starting spot so hopefully we can get a good run on Saturday night.”

GREG BIFFLE, No. 16 3M Ford Fusion – Qualified 33rd

“We were just really bad loose. The car was pretty good during the day today but I got loose when we went to qualifying trim. We weren’t very good in qualifying trim today, let’s put it that way. We will just go talk about it. Good news is we were better in race trim.”

CARL EDWARDS, No. 99 Geek Squad Ford Fusion – Qualified 28th

“I was tight. Man, it’s very frustrating but it’s okay. We will race. We have a good car in race trim so we will be okay. It will be a heck of a race tomorrow night.”
