ADVANCE NOTES

·        Biffle at the All-Star

o   With the help of a fast pit stop by his 3M Pit Bulls, Biffle started last year’s All-Star race in fourth place.  Unfortunately a mechanical issue ended his night early, resulting in a 22nd-place finish.

·        The Car

o   Chassis RK-817 last raced at Kansas and earned a 19th-place finish.  RK-817 is the same car that Biffle won Michigan with in the fall of 2012.

·        Filtrete

o   Biffle had Filtrete on the hood of his Ford in Texas last year when he took home the win.

Biffle on the All-Star race:

“I’m looking forward to the All-Star race this Saturday night.  We’ve struggled some this year, so it will be nice to have a non-points race and try to learn some things for the Coke 600 next weekend.  Charlotte has been good to us in the past and a win would help gain momentum going into this summer stretch.”

Puccia on the All-Star race:

“The All-Star is a fun non-points race where you can let it all hang out and take some chances, but you can also learn some things to apply to the Coke 600.  Charlotte has typically been a good race track for us, hopefully we can capitalize on that and build a little momentum for the second part of the season.”
