Carl Edwards will make his eighth appearance in the Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. In his previous starts he has one win, three top-five and four top-10 finishes.
· A LITTLE HISTORY
Roush Fenway Racing has won four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star races. Mark Martin won the event in 1998 and 2005, Matt Kenseth took the checkered flag in 2004 and Carl Edwards in 2011.

I’ve watched the All-Star race on television since I was a little kid, seen all the amazing finishes, the crazy circumstances, all the emotion and chaos that goes on around that event, it’s really an honor to be a part of it now as a driver. We’ve been working very hard on our car, on our strategy and I’m really excited to go run the race.
