· Pastrana at Road America
o Travis Pastrana will make his first road course start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) this weekend at Road America.
o Although this weekend marks his first NNS road course start, Pastrana is no stranger to right hand turns. From 2006 – 2009, he won four consecutive Rally America Championships.
· The Car
o Chassis RK-785 is a new chassis and will make its road course debut at Road America.
· Recapping Michigan
o Pastrana and the No. 60 team overcame an early incident during the Alliance Truck Parts 250 at Michigan International Speedway to bring home a 17th-place finish.
o He remains 15th in the NNS point standings.
· A Stop in the Windy City
o Pastrana and fellow NNS driver, Regan Smith visited Chicago on Monday in an effort to promote the upcoming July 21 race at Chicagoland Speedway. The two drivers competed in an ice cream sales competition for charity, with Smith barely edging out Pastrana. Each driver selected the Charlie Dean Leffler Trust Fund as their charity of choice.

Pastrana on how his Rally experience will translate to NASCAR:
“NASCAR Nationwide cars are a lot different to drive [than Rally cars], but I’m hoping we will be more competitive on the road courses than I have been so far on the ovals. At the very least, it will be a lot of fun and an exciting change of pace!”
What he is most looking forward to at Road America:
“I’ve never raced at Road America and it is such an awesome course. I’ve looked forward to racing it for years and have countless laps around it on my iRacing simulator. It’s a very long course with a lot of variety so I think it will suit my rally background.”
