US Cellular 250 QUOTES & NOTES: Iowa Speedway
Hefty®/Reynolds® Racing NOTES
25th in Owners’ Standings…Over-heating issues plagued Eric McClure and the Hefty®/Reynolds® team last weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, relegating them to a 31st-place finish. As a result, the team slipped two spots to 25th in the NASCAR Owner Standings.
Iowa Fast Facts…This weekend’s US Cellular 250 will mark McClure’s 219th-career NASCAR Nationwide Series start and his sixth at the 7/8-mile tri-oval. In five starts, the Virginia driver has completed 97% of the total laps attempted and has an average finish of 23.6. In the first event at Iowa Speedway earlier this season, McClure posted a track- best finish of 18th.
Chassis No. 7 … The Virginia native will pilot chassis No. 7 during this weekend’s event at Iowa Speedway. This chassis was last run at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in July where the team posted a 31st-place finish after running out of fuel during a green-white-checkered finish. Chassis No. 7 was also used during the series’ first event at Iowa Speedway in May, where he recorded a track-best finish.
Personal Appearances… McClure will have two appearances leading up to Saturday’s event. The first will be at Hy-Vee 1759 on Friday, August 2 from 11am – 12pm (CT). The store address is 8701 Douglas Ave, Urbandale, IA. The second will be at the Iowa Speedway’s Pioneer Hospitality tent from 3:00pm – 3:30pm (CT), prior to the race.

About Reynolds Consumer Products
Two of the most trusted household brands, Reynolds® and Hefty®, joined together as Reynolds Consumer Products in 2010. While the establishment of this new company made it official, the truth is that Reynolds® and Hefty® products have been found side-by-side in the kitchens of American families for more than three generations.
The creation of both the Reynolds® and Hefty® brands is the direct result of American ingenuity mixed with a bit of elbow grease. Reynolds Wrap® Foil was invented after the use of aluminum for military purposes diminished after World War II and became a new staple for American kitchens. Hefty® Waste Bags were first developed with excess material from an early plastics innovator, creating another household essential.
Today, Reynolds Consumer Products, headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois offers a diverse product portfolio of essentials for every home. From prepping, cooking and serving, to storage and disposal, Reynolds Consumer Products provides solutions for controlling the chaos of busy households everywhere.
