Jamie McMurray and No. 1 McDonald`s Team

Michigan Recap: The Irish Hills of Michigan were the setting for race No. 23 on the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) schedule.  The No. 1 fast acting Advil team battled through many challenges throughout the weekend, including a blown engine in Friday’s first practice session and a subsequent engine change, to manage a 22nd-place finish in the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway (MIS).

McMurray at Bristol: McMurray has made 21 NSCS starts at Bristol Motor Speedway.  In those starts he has three top-five and nine top-10 finishes.  He has completed 10253 of 10513 (97.5%) laps of competition and led 21 laps.  He has a best starting position of third (August 2007) and a best finish of third on two occasions (August 2004, August 2010).  McMurray has qualified in the top-10 on nine occasions at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) where he has an average start of 16.4 and an average finish of 16.8.
