EARNHARDT LOOKING FOR REBOUND

FONTANA, Calif. – Jeffrey Earnhardt rolls into Auto Club Speedway this weekend eyeing an improved performance in the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet.

Earnhardt finished 32nd last week at Bristol Motor Speedway in his fourth race in the JD Motorsports car.

Saturday will mark his first run on the fast two-mile ACS course.

“We’re looking forward to Fontana,” Earnhardt said. “We’ve gotten off to kind of a slow start, but I’m confident we’ll have a good car out there. It’s the kind of track where you can really fly and race in a lot of grooves. We’re looking for a good day.”

The TreatMyClot.com 300 is scheduled at 5 p.m. (ET) Saturday.

Qualifying is set for 1:40 p.m. Saturday after two practice rounds (4:40 p.m. and 6 p.m.) Friday.
