Sunny Hobbs To Sport Purple In 2011

PROVIDENCE FORGE, Virginia (March 8, 2011) – – S.H.E. (Sunny Hobbs Enterprises) announced today that Royal Purple®, a manufacturer of high performance lubricants for most automotive, industrial, marine, motorcycle and racing applications will join aspiring female star Sunny Hobbs as an associate marketing partner for the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season at Old Dominion (Va.) Speedway.

Royal Purple®is a privately-held company headquartered in Porter, Texas that produces a wide range of high performance lubricants for nearly every consumer and industrial application. Its founder John Williams was a pioneer in the development of high performance synthetic lubricants and collectively, Royal Purple’s formulators have more than 200 years of expertise in developing high performance lubricants.

The purple crown will sport it’s logos on the L&R Motorsports machine beginning next month when Hobbs is expected to climb behind the wheel of the No. 31 L&R Motorsports Chevrolet Impala in her late model return.

“I’m super excited to have this relationship with Royal Purple®,” said Hobbs, who leans into the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series after a stint in the NASA (National Auto Sport Association). It means a lot to me that Royal Purple is investing their faith and time in me and L&R Motorsports in what we hope will be a winning combination.”

Hobbs, a former competitor in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is optimistic about returning to late model racing next month. “I’ve been waiting to get back in a late model for a long time,” Hobbs sounded. “The L&R Motorsports has been busting their tails to get our car ready. We’re still tackling sponsorship but the addition and support of Royal Purple® definitely is steering this veteran team in the right direction.”
