  1. Not a good race when Chevy can only muster 5th place. Yeah I still pull for the the bow tie guys but reading stories like this makes it hard. I love old Chevrolets and I’ll never get used to hearing guys talk about their Chevy SS’s. It’s hard enough living through the demise of cool 2 door models off the showroom floor that we can see on the track but when the SS brand is used on a car that is not a souped-up versions of a Chevelle, Impala , Camaro, Nova or Monte Carlo it really takes the wind out of my sails as a fan. It’s a fact of life I guess… I am 47 now and much less a target market and those that are are much less in tune to what the car industry used to be like. I love racing but having to squint to pretend the cars on the track have any excitement is really a drag. I really think it is pointless have Sprint cars be a lower class than the american cars in the Nationwide Series. I am just saying…
