HScott Motorsports announced earlier this week that Carcoons Storage Solutions will sponsor Justin Allgaier’s No. 55 Chevrolet SS this weekend in the Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.
Allgaier will make his first career Michigan Cup start this season as he continues to contend for the Sonoco Rookie of the Year Award. In five Nationwide Series events at MIS, he has one top-five and two top-10s.
“I’m excited to have Carcoon Storage Solutions on the car at Michigan,” said Allgaier. “They have a very unique and innovative product with the Carcoon Airflow System. Michigan is a big weekend for my team because it’s not too far from Chevy’s back yard, and I’m thrilled to represent the Carcoon Storage Solutions brand there.”
Allgaier currently sits 29th in Sprint Cup points with a best finish of 17th at Bristol.
Carcoon is known for their portable automotive storage and workstation field equipment.
“We are pleased to be on the No. 51 car at Michigan International Speedway,” George Page, owner of Carcoon, said. “This is our first time being involved in NASCAR, and we are looking forward to a great race at Michigan. Justin [Allgaier] is a solid driver and we are proud to associate our company with HScott Motorsports.”
