ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Bristol Motor Speedway

Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway marks Wallace’s first start in the series at the half-mile track.

So far this season, Wallace leads the NASCAR XFINITY Series in the number of quality passes with 351 through the first six races of the 2015 season.

Wallace has two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Bristol Motor Speedway, where he has earned one top-five finish.  Last season, Wallace qualified his truck in eighth and closed out the 200-Lap race in second.

On the Car

The No. 6 Mustang carries the Ford EcoBoost colors this weekend in Bristol.  Ford EcoBoost technology combines smaller overall size with turbocharging, direct injection and variable valve timing to bring customers outstanding performance and fuel economy.

Recapping Texas

Wallace and the No.6 AdvoCare team came to Texas Motor Speedway with a quick Mustang.  He battled for position inside the top-five for the majority of the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at the 1.5-mile track, earning his best finish of the season, crossing the line in sixth.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bubba Wallace on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:

“Bristol is another race that is highlighted on the schedule.  This track has provided a lot of success for me.  Coming off a second-place finish in the Truck Series, I feel like I have what it takes to go up against the XFINITY guys.  This track brings you back home to the grassroots racing feel.  I’m excited to climb aboard my Ford EcoBoost Mustang and compete for a win.”
