News and Notes:

Heading into Saturday Nights SpongeBob SquarePants 400, Gase will be making his second career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start in “The Sunflower State”. The 21 year old, Gase made his second career NSCS start at the Kansas Speedway in the 2014 fall event, finishing 37th driving for Go Green Racing. The Cedar Rapids, IA native is coming off a career best finish of fifth in last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Win-Dixie 300 at Talladega SuperSpeedway.

Joey Gase on Kansas:

“I’m really looking forward to being back in the seat of the No.32 Ford Fusion this weekend for Go Green Racing. I really enjoy how smooth and fast the Kansas speedway is, and produces some great racing. All of us are hoping we can carry over some momentum from our great weekend at Talladega in the Xfinity car, and rebound from my last Cup race at Richmond.”
