MAKE No. 50 KANSAS RACE PREVIEW

Travis Kvapil takes over the No. 50 Driving Duties

Back On Track…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returns to the track this weekend in Kansas City, Kansas for the Toyota Tundra 250. Travis Kvapil will make his 7th NCWTS start at the Kansas Speedway.

This Week’s Silverado…The No. 50 Burnie Grill Chevrolet will unload a chassis named “Maxwell” as all of MAKE’s Chassis are named after pigs. Babe was last seen on track at Atlanta Motor Speedway and driven by Cody Ware. Maxwell started 23rd and was destined for a top 15 run until a right rear tire delaminated sending Cody and Maxwell into the wall and ending the day.

Grilling Up Something… Burnie Grills is the new all wood, self-burning grill. MAKE has also launched the adventures of Burnie through their social media accounts including Snapchat. Follow along with #BurniesAdventures.

Joining In… Elite Holdings, WIX Filters, AKL Insurance, Beaver Bail Bonds, and Markanda Social Strategies are all associates on the No. 50 Chevrolet.

Watch and Listen… The Toyota Tundra 250 can be seen live on Friday, May 8th on FOX Sports 1. Race coverage will begin at 7 p.m. EST, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap…The No. 50 team started the Martinsville Speedway race from 28th position. Running solidly in the top 20, Cody Ware had a pit that resulted in a loose rear wheel. This loose wheel damaged the truck until it was unsafe to continue resulting in a 27th place finish.

Travis Kvapil on Racing at Kansas Speedway:
“I’m excited to get in the No. 50 Burnie Grill Chevrolet this weekend for MAKE. I have done pretty good here at in the past with the truck series so I’m looking forward to a good run with these guys. We can have fun and race while making this team stronger.”
