46th annual FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speak at Dover International Speedway
News and Notes:
Heading into Sunday’s FedEx 400, Bliss will be looking to make his 176th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start, and his 14th career start at the “Monster Mile”. The Milwaukie, OR native has found success at the 1 mile high banked concrete oval scoring eight top-ten finishes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS), and three top-five finishes in only three starts competiting in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS).
Mike Bliss on Dover:
“Dover is such a tough and physically demanding track. Dover has some similarities to Bristol, with the high banking, and the physical demnads, but the concrete surface makes it much tougher. Clinton and the guys back at the shop have been working so hard all season, and I’m confident Dover is the place to turn our string of bad luck around.”
Chassis Info:
Crew Chief Clinton Cram will be bringing chassis GGR-742 to serve as the primary car. Bliss last drove this car at Bristol in April finishing 31st. Chassis GGR-289 will serve as the backup car.
