RHODES 26th AT DOVER

DOVER, Del. – Harrison Rhodes scored his best finish in the past four races Saturday, claiming 26th in the Buckle Up 200 Xfinity Series race at Dover International Speedway.

Rhodes qualified 34th but raced in the 20s most of the day, reaching a high of 25th before bringing the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet home in 26th.

“I like driving this track, and we had a pretty decent car,” Rhodes said. “Dover is one of those places where there’s no rest. You have to be up on the wheel all the time. I was glad we were able to avoid the trouble and get in all the laps.”

Rhodes, a rookie, is 23rd in Xfinity driver points a third through the season.

Chris Buescher won Saturday’s race and kept the series point lead.

The series next races at Michigan International Speedway June 13.
