2015 Season

Reed is currently eighth in the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship standings after one win and eight top-15 finishes. He and teammate Chris Buescher are the only XFINITY Series regulars to win a race so far this season.

Reed on Chicagoland

“I’m excited to pull double duty this weekend at Chicagoland because of the opportunity for two strong finishes,” said Reed. “We’ve been working on our cars for Chicago for some time now and I know that will show when we get on the track. Our Roush Fenway Ford Mustangs are continually getting faster and I’m ready to put our No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association car back in Victory Lane.”

Local Connection

Jim Fikac, pit support personnel on the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang, is from nearby Chicago Ridge, Ill. Fikac also acts as the front tire carrier for the No. 32 car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
