This Week’s No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Watkins Glen International:  J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 411 in the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International. This is a new chassis to the JGL Racing organization and the first time it is being raced by J.J. Yeley.

Yeley at Watkins Glen International:

J.J. will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Watkins Glen to go along with four starts at the road course in Sprint Cup Series competition.  Yeley has a career best XFINITY Series finish of 10th at the 2.45 mile layout.

Last year Yeley and his JGL Racing were caught up in a lap 33 accident which relegated them to a disappointing 35th-place finish.

J.J.’s Thoughts on The Glen:

“Road Course racing is fun and wild at the same time.  It will be chaotic out there on Saturday and you really have to be on top of your game.  Ideally you get in a good qualifying run so you can be somewhere towards the front of the field and avoid a lot of the mess.  But that is easier said than done.”

“Watkins Glen has some high speed sections and others that are very technical – so an overall package on our No. 28 Toyota will be key.  Steve Lane (crew chief) and this JGL Racing team have been working hard and this team continues to grow each week. These three road course races we have coming up will be fun and we look forward to three strong finishes.”
