Pressure is on as @Aric_Almirola and #43 @ArmourMeats team compete for #Chase spot at @MISpeedway. #NASCAR
The pressure is on for @Aric Almirola and the No. 43 @Armour Meats Ford as they compete for a Chase spot this weekend at @Michigan International Speedway.
“We’re just on the outside looking in on a Chase spot. Fifty points is a lot to make up in four races, but you never know what can happen. We’ll continue making the best out of our races and see where the points fall. And, we’ll work our guts out to try and score a win to lock a spot in the Chase. Our intermediate program has been pretty consistent. We have a different package this weekend compared to the June race, so I’ll be interested in seeing how the race goes. It’s the same package we ran in Indy, so hopefully, we will be able to run up front.
“This is the first primary race for Armour, so that’s pretty cool to have them on the hood of the 43 this weekend. They have a great sweepstakes they launched in July for the grand prize winner and three guests to come to Miami to watch the race. It’s great when our partners give back to the fans, and this is a great opportunity for one lucky winner to go to one of the biggest events of the year.”
