This will be Spencer Boyd’s first start at Daytona International Speedway. Boyd has some experience at Daytona having tested an ARCA car for Mason Mitchell Motorsports in 2016.

Roland joins several other members of a star-studded lineup of celebrities with close Georgia ties making up the Celebrity Host Committee, which will help welcome fans to the weekend at AMS.

After an exhaustive restoration process, Team Penske has unveiled one of the most unique pieces of its history, a customized 1972 International Fleetstar truck known in the racing circles as “The Blue Hilton.” The truck was one of the first known enclosed transporters used for racing purposes. It served the team in various capacities from 1972-1983. The restoration is complete down to the smallest detail, including authentic PPG paint and hand lettering just in time for Roger Penske’s 80th birthday.

Chip Wile, the youngest President of Daytona International Speedway, was recognized today as a recipient of SportsBusiness Journal’s (SBJ) Forty Under 40 honor. Chosen from among an initial candidate list of more than 500, Wile will receive the award on April 20 at the Forty Under 40 Gala at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, CA. Forty Under 40 recognizes excellence and innovation among young sports executives nationwide.

Petty is the perfect guest; he holds the record for the most wins in the most prestigious NASCAR race, and is one of the sport's leading ambassadors.
