Biffle Celebrates 450th Career Start with Second-Place Finish in Coca-Cola 600

Greg Biffle honored his second cousin, Private Dean VanDyke, whose name was displayed across the windshield of the No. 16 Ortho Ford with a second-place finish in the Coca-Cola 600. Biffle was a constant figure in the top 10 for the longest race of the year and in the end was able to stretch fuel mileage to earn his best finish of the season in what was also his 450th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start.

Stenhouse Jr. Finishes 37th at Charlotte Motor Speedway After Mechanical Issue

After battling back from being one lap down and maneuvering his Fastenal Ford up inside the top-20, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was running in the 16th position before a mechanical issue sent him to the garage for repair. Thanks to the hasty work by the No. 17 team to repair the issue, Stenhouse Jr. was able to return to the track and pick up two positions in the final laps, salvaging a 37th-place finish inSunday’s Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
