In a race plagued by inclement weather for the entire day and into the evening, the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway was shortened by 2.5 laps when the skies opened-up again and forced Round 4 of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to end under caution. Mother Nature finished ahead of Team Chevy’s Tony Stewart in his No. 14 Bass Pro Shops/Mobil 1 Chevrolet SS, who collected fourth place, his best in the 2014 season thus far, after a leg injury in mid-2013.
Eric McClure and the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® race team finished 27th in Saturday's Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway, after starting the race from the 35th position.

The NASCAR schedule turns to Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend with its return to the Oval this fall, pivoting from the track’s road-course (the “ROVAL”), this will be the first time since 2017 the NASCAR Cup Series ran the oval at Charlotte twice in the same season.
