Michael Waltrip Racing learned today that Brian Vickers is not available to race for the remainder of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup season due to health issues.

Kevin Harvick, a two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series champion and winner of 76 races in NASCAR's top three touring divisions, has signed with JR Motorsports and will compete in a minimum of 12 Nationwide Series races in 2014. Hunt Brothers® Pizza, the nation’s largest brand of made-to-order pizza in the convenience store industry, will be the primary sponsor on Harvick’s Chevrolet for four races.

Roush Fenway Racing announced today that Ryan Reed will drive the No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop Diabetes Presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang full-time in 2014 on the NASCAR Nationwide Series circuit. Reed, who will be running for the series championship and rookie of the year honors, was part of a press conference today to talk about the deal.

Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) announced today its partnership with Ryan Reed and the American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop Diabetes SM campaign, presented by Lilly Diabetes. Reed will drive the No. 16 RFR Ford full-time in the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series season, competing for a championship and rookie-of-the-year honors. Reed, a NASCAR driver making his dreams come true while living with type 1 diabetes, collaborated with the American Diabetes Association for the Drive to Stop Diabetes SMcampaign in 2013, driving for RFR in a limited schedule.
