Below are the 2013 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup clinch scenarios for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway, the final race before the Chase field is set. Six drivers have clinched top-10 spots in the Chase: Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth. Kasey Kahne, on the strength of two wins, has clinched at least a Wild Card spot.
Roush Fenway Racing’s Trevor Bayne finished seventh Saturday night in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race from Atlanta Motor Speedway. The No. 6 Cargill/Sam’s Club team battled hard all night, starting third and racing in the top-five for most of the night.
Richard Childress Racing teammates finished ninth (Kevin Harvick), 19th (Austin Dillon), 24th (Paul Menard) and 34th (Jeff Burton) in the AdvoCare 500.

As the excitement builds in anticipation of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Kurt Busch made some bold moves in his No. 78 Furniture Row/Beautyrest Chevrolet SS to rally from a 32nd place starting spot to fourth place overall in the Advocare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It marked his seventh top five and 12th top-10 finish of the season, to date. Busch moved up two positions in the point standings and now ranks 10th overall.
Following his dramatic, come-from-behind fourth-place finish in Sunday night’s Sprint Cup Series race, Kurt Busch radioed his Furniture Row Racing team and shouted, “We’re still in it boys, we’re still in it. On to Richmond!”

The 25-year-old Green from Concord, North Carolina, is set to become the 10th competitor to pilot Spire Motorsports' No. 77 Chevrolet entry throughout the 2026 Truck Series season and for his series' debut at Talladega Superspeedway on October 23.
The 36-year-old Ellis from Torrance, California, is Alpha Prime Racing's first full-time competitor signed for the 2027 O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season.

Ryan Ellis was announced as Young’s Motorsports’ full-time driver in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series as the organization enters its third season of competition.
