In an effort to bring more fans closer to all of the action, including the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint CupTM races, NASCAR Digital Media has launched the official NASCAR Mobile ’13TM app for Microsoft Windows Phone 8 devices. And the timing couldn’t be better, as anticipation builds with five races remaining before the world learns which 12 drivers will battle it out for the title of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.

A recent test session at Watkins Glen International has sprung new optimism for the Chase-contending Kurt Busch, who will make his 13th career start at the central New York road course in Sunday’s CHEEZ-IT 355 At The Glen.

Edwards at Watkins Glen… Edwards will make his ninth Cup start at Watkins Glen this weekend. In his previous eight starts, he has accumulated three top-five and five top-10 finishes. He has an average start of 12.5 and finish of 9.4 there.

Stenhouse will make his first Sprint Cup start at Watkins Glen this weekend.

Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet SS team travel to Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International (WGI) this weekend for Sunday’s Cheez-It 355 at The Glen NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race.

The past two years, Marcos Ambrose and the No. 9 Stanley Racing team of Richard Petty Motorsports have closed down Watkins Glen International while celebrating in Victory Lane. Ambrose is the defending two-time winner at the road course in Upstate New York and is looking for a three-peat this weekend.

HEADING TO THE GLEN: The No. 11 OneMain Financial team and driver Elliott Sadler travel to Watkins Glen International for the second of three road course races of the NASCAR Nationwide Series season. Sadler has four Nationwide Series starts at the track, which include one top-10 finish in 2011. The Emporia, Va., driver also has 12 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at the New York track, including a best finish of seventh in 2006.

David Ragan's most recent finish at Watkins Glen International (August 2012) was also his career best, and he'll look to top that result one year later as the Sprint Cup Series heads back to the 2.45-mile road course in New York's Finger Lakes region.
