Charles (CJ) Evans Jr. will make his first ARCA Racing Series start since 2013 with Team BCR Racing this Friday at Kansas Speedway for the Kansas Lottery 98.9. Evans will be behind the wheel of the No. 88 Elevator Transportation Services, ACCI Ford Fusion.
As the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards 2014 Season comes to a close Friday night with the ARCA 98.9 from Kansas Speedway it also completes the 32nd year of series competition for Venturini Motorsports (VMS).
The crown jewel events in sprint car racing don’t just pay a large purse, but also have a legendary history behind them. The National Open at the famed Williams Grove Speedway has been taking place since 1963, and has been part of the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series schedule since the series inaugural season in 1978.

“I think I know a lot about Kansas from seeing races there and talking to a lot of drivers,” Earnhardt said. “But, of course, there’s nothing like being on the track and experiencing the real thing. I’m looking forward to running there for the first time.”
“Kansas is similar to the other 1.5-mile tracks, but it has its own unique qualities, too,” Cassill said. “It’s very fast for an intermediate track, and it’s had more than its share of wrecks lately, so you have to really be on your toes there.”
After a successful ARCA open test with Team BCR at Kansas Speedway just one month ago, John Lowinski-Loh is set to make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut in the No. 09 Auto Go Ford Fusion.
After a disappointing finish last weekend at the "Monster Mile", Bliss and the No. 19 Camry team are looking for redemption this weekend in Kansas. With an average starting position of 20.3 and an average finishing position of 20.8, Bliss has seen previous success at the 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway. In the past two NNS seasons Bliss has consecutively brought home 13th place finishes at Kansas.
David Starr will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 Niece Equipment Camry in his first career NNS start at Kansas Speedway this weekend. Starr has 11 NCWTS starts at the 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway, with two top-10 finishes. Starr has over 20 starts in the Nationwide Series on tracks 1-2miles in length.

JR Motorsports has competed at Rockingham Speedway a combined four times in the NOAPS. In those starts at the 1.017-mile oval, the organization has recorded one win, one top-five and one top-10. The average finish is 12.8.
