The Stewart-Haas Racing driver ran a 28.002 lap at 192.843 mph. Busch holds the track qualifying record of 198.771 mph, a 27.167 seconds lap, set on Oct. 9, 2014.

NASCAR will test changes for the 2017 aero package in two races this season in their continuing effort to remove downforce from the cars and improve competition.
