Everybody expects the likes of Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Richard Childress Racing or Roush Fenway Racing to be on the pole for the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway - however, Front Row Motorsports? Really? That's exactly what happened on Friday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway as David Gilliland put the underfunded team on the pole with a lap of 45.153 seconds.

Keselowski Wins Kentucky Pole, Breaks Qualifying Record

Brad Keselowski won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway on Friday with a speed of 188.791 mph. Keselowski broke the track qualifying record with a lap time of 28.603 seconds. He bested second place qualifier and fellow Team Penske driver Joey Logano’s time by two tenths of a second.

Jimmie Johnson finally beat Michigan International Speedway. "We've figured out every way to lose this race." Johnson remarked in victory lane, "We finally figured out how to win one." The victory was Johnson's third in four weeks and his 69th career victory. Johnson held off pole sitter Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski for the win after a four tire stop on the final pit sequence. Johnson lead 39 of the 200 laps.

Paul Menard Captures his Second Career Nationwide Series Win at Michigan

Paul Menard was in the right place at the right time Saturday afternoon and captured the win in the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 250 at Michigan International Speedway. Menard took the lead with only four laps to go after race leader Joey Logano was forced to pit due to a cut tire. It was his second victory in the Nationwide Series, his first since June of 2006 when he won at Milwaukee.
